Always online
For extra certainty we offer a backup connection that switches on automatically when the main connection fails. That way you always stay online.
The switchover happens in the router and needs no action from your staff: if the main connection drops, traffic carries on over the second line. We usually pick a deliberately different type of connection – 4G or 5G alongside fibre, for instance – because an outage at one supplier would otherwise take down both your lines.
A backup connection is normally narrower than your main line. So we decide in advance what gets priority when it matters: telephony and your most important applications keep working, the rest can wait. And because we monitor the line, we know when it takes over – often before you notice.
