You know why it did work yesterday.

Structure and insight are essential to you. As our new Senior IT Engineer you feel right at home in an environment where you work at a deep level with (virtual) servers, telephony systems (3CX) and the whole Microsoft 365 ecosystem. For our wide range of customers you make sure, together with the team, that everything runs the way it should – and preferably a step better.

Does this sound like music to your ears?

You work closely with a team of (DevOps) engineers and share responsibility for the continuity, performance and security of the IT solutions at our customers. Your focus is on analysing IT challenges and developing solutions that last. You get a lot of freedom and responsibility in that, and you understand what it means to act within the SLA agreements we have with our customers. You also think along about technical strategy and you are the person people come to with the complex questions.

This is where the real digging starts

Day to day, complex IT questions come by that – depending on experience and interest – land straight on your desk. Think of work and questions around:

• Microsoft Intune, including device and policy management
• Microsoft Autopilot and modern workplace roll-outs
• Microsoft MDM and security configurations
• Windows Server environments, including basic management and troubleshooting
• Networks, firewalls and VLAN structures
• Managed switches and basic network architecture
• VPN tunnels, both site-to-site and client VPN

Are you the one we are looking for?

• At least a completed bachelor’s degree (HBO), preferably in Computer Science, Business IT & Management or a related field, complemented by IT specialisations.
• You are decisive and strong at taking decisions.
• You separate what matters from what does not and set the right priorities.
• Demonstrable experience with modern cloud infrastructures, servers and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Demonstrable experience with modern VoIP solutions and their configuration.
• Extensive knowledge of and certifications for the 3CX telephony solution are a plus.
• Good command of Dutch & English (spoken and written).
